Planning Grant for PB Parks Approved July 24, 2015!

After years of hard work, planning and persistence the PB Parks Project has been awarded a grant for a feasibility study.  The scope of the study will include a preliminary engineering analysis and 30% drawings.  Council Member Lorie Zapf spoke at the meeting in support of the project and the grant was awarded.  See the details of the grant application below & check back soon for more information on the next steps in this process.

Community Works Together to Improve Beach Area

Bob Craig of the Mission Beach town council has initiated a collaboration of MB and PB organizations to address a major pedestrian obstruction and safety issue within the PB Parks planned area. The community organizations will work with the City of San Diego and SDG&E to move a deteriorated pedestrian obstruction on a primary gateway to the beach.

Community Workshop Announced!

A follow-up workshop to review the final recommendations from the AIA Sustainable Design Assessment Team and work as a community to plan next steps will be held on April 29th from 6pm to 8pm at PB Middle School Library/Media Room.  This event is open to the public and all who are interested are encouraged to attend.  See you there!
