Working together with other groups locally and throughout the city helps beautifulPB more effectively accomplish our goals for Pacific Beach. 

Our partners

It takes many hands to build a community, and Pacific Beach is no exception. We are grateful to be able to partner with other local and regional groups on projects in Pacific Beach.

Local Community Groups

Serving as the local Business Improvement District, DiscoverPB represents over 1,500 member businesses. It oversees various programs and events in PB, including the PB Tuesday Farmers’ Market, PB Beachfest, PB Holiday Parade, and the Clean and Safe initiative.

Board meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month at noon at the DiscoverPB offices at 1503 Garnet Ave.

Founded in 1951, the Pacific Beach Town Council is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the betterment of Pacific Beach. The PBTC provides a forum for discussing community issues, advocates for residents’ welfare, and organizes events like the annual “Concerts on the Green,” Graffitti Cleanup Day, and Police And Emergency Services Appreciation Night

Monthly meetings occur on the third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m at Crown Point Elementary School at 4033 Ingraham St.

This city-recognized volunteer board is responsible for upholding the Pacific Beach Community Plan, and advising the City issues related to growth, development, and mobility in the community. The group reviews pending residential and commercial projects, making recommendations to the City Planning Department.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Pacific Beach Taylor Library at 4275 Cass St.

The Pacific Beach Community Parking District is made up of representatives from DiscoverPB, the PB Town Council, beautifulPB, and four local community advocates. The district is receives revenue from local parking meters, and is dedicated to managing and improving parking and transportation solutions in the area. 

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the DiscoverPB offices at 1503 Garnet Ave.
