Happy May! The sun is out, and so are the walkers, cyclists, boarders, and other active travelers! Beautiful PB has been growing, and we have a lot of exciting events and projects moving forward. I want to thank you all for your support and participation, and would like to encourage you to invite your friends and family to share in these pro-social, local community events celebrating and building the arts and sustainable infrastructure for a bright and hopeful future.
BEAUTIFULPB LAUNCHES PB ARTS DISTRICT
The new PB Arts District will organize, energize, and promote the arts, cultural, and entertainment life of Pacific Beach. This new initiative weaves art into our everyday surroundings, cultivating a lively cultural identity in Pacific Beach.
What Is the PB Arts District?
The PB Arts District serves as the community’s central hub for arts information. Local artists, studios, galleries, and performers are invited to submit art events for inclusion on Beautiful PB website’s event calendar. The calendar will publicize upcoming shows, classes, exhibitions, and more—all in one convenient location.
On April 7, the PB Arts District held its first Doodle Night event at Bar Ella. Doodle nights are fun, relaxed events where everyone is welcome to draw freely—no artistic expertise required. They offer an opportunity to unwind, have fun, and connect with others through creativity.
Volunteers Needed
Beautiful PB supports community-led initiatives—from creating art spaces to making streets safer. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish PB had…”, this is your chance to make it happen.

A fun, casual bike ride exploring Pacific Beach’s safe and scenic PB Pathways! Great for all ages and a perfect way to learn safe cycling around town and connect with active mobility enthusiasts.
